Bus to Vienna

Hotel Check out at 7:00 AM after breakfast. Bus to Vienna will take about 3.5 hours.

Arrive Vienna, around 12:00 noon then check in at the hotel and rest.

Vienna, Austria’s capital, is known as the city of classical music because its artistic and intellectual legacy was shaped by its residents including Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud. It is also the city that popularized the Waltz dance with music composition from the Straussfamily. The city is also known for its imperial palaces including the Schönbrunn and the Habsburgs’ summer residence.

3:00 PM – Walking Tour

Some of the most beautiful buildings are the St Stephan cathedral, The St. Peter Church and the Hapsburg Imperial palace. It is a lovely city.

I will also encourage everybody to watch the Opera. If the season is over then we can still watch the concert. I know where the cheaper tickets can be bought but no chairs, it is a standing platform on the top. But to see the inside of the building is mind boggling. That is the famous Opera house in Europe equal to the La Scala Opera house of Milan, Italy.

The Vienna Opera house is the starting point of the City walk.

Along this route there are so many things to see. Once in Michaelerplatz we can continue towards Heldenplatz passing underneath the Hofburq Imperial apartments. This is about 1.6 miles and if we walk slow then it will be easy. We will allot 3 hours on this walk.

XTime Expedition 2018

This all started in May of 2016 in the Sin city  Las Vegas. We were having Dinner at Emie Pawiks house and all of a sudden somebody said "Where and when is the next reunion?" I thought, well, next one should be an adventure instead of just eating and drinking. So, I shouted "How about Alaska Cruise in 2017 and European Cruise in 2018?!!!". Well, it looks like it stuck to everybody's mind. Then lots of our friends started to message me asking for it.  Well then I asked, "Why not a big reunion where everybody will have fun and memories. Let's go for a European Tour and a Mediterranean cruise?". Then the rest is history. I do not know why I end up being the Tour organizer, planner, guide, accountant  and everything!
